On our way to Wimbledon, I spotted a line of people here. Told my wife that we were stopping here on the way back to the Tube (subway). Oh wow, are we ever glad that we stopped by cause we both Loved the Original Fish and Chip Company!!!
We ordered the Cod & Chips. We got it to-go (takeaway). The plan was to eat it at our hotel. It never made it though. We gobbled it all up on the Tube ride. Our fellow passengers appeared to be salivating as my wife and I enjoyed every bit of our fish & chips! The food was truly delicious!
Cannot wait to return here in the future. Just too bad that they are far from my home. :( -

Fish is usually massive & meaty, not just big because it's covered in batter, delicious! On the other hand I don't like the chips here because they are "too clean" ... Ridiculous I know and most people would be happy about that, however because chips are a rare treat I like them to be greasy and then the salt and vinegar soaks in better!!
Update after eating: today was a bit of a let down on the fish, we made a bit fail and didn't order the "thick cod" and it wasn't it's usually yummy self! Be warned order the thick and u'll be good! ;-)

Ordered the thick cod with chips...it was HUGE! Very good deal for the price and delicious to boot. We also ordered a few picked sides (egg, onion, pickle) and were not disappointed. It was in February and not a good time for sitting outside to eat so we took it to our little home away from home a 7-minute walk away and it was still hot and crisp and delectable when we sat down to eat. I would recommend for anyone wanting a traditional and simple meal.

Ordered the cod and chips and it was pretty good. Reasonable price, chips were good with good amount of vinegar and salt. The cod was cooked well. It was flaky in the middle and the batter was decent. If the weather wasn't so cold, eating on their open seating would be enjoyable, especially during the Wimbledon Tennis Championships. I would recommend coming to this location if you're in the area!

Can't beat this fish and chip shop without going to the seaside and even then it can be hard to beat it
Hesitant to try other fish and chips shops because I would allways compare to this one and end up disappointed lol
